The High Altar stands in its original position, having been moved down in 1977 from the top of the steps level with the Trinity chapel.

  • the modern needlework kneelers representing flowers that are emblems of the states of the USA, embroidered by members of the Needlepoint Committee of the national Cathedral Washington DC and presented in 1961
